My fascination with Coelogyne started a few years ago with a Coel. cristata with her striking flowers smelling of banana ... since then, dozens of Coelogyne and, more recently, Chelonistele and Pholidota joined in and started filling my appartement. This page is an attempt to collect pictures, plant descriptions and at a later stage details on the cultivation of all orchids of this genus containing about 200 species. As you see, there's still a lot of work ahead! So, if you happen to have pictures of or useful information on these hardy plants that you would like to share please send them to me and I will be happy to publish them with your name!
